Getting Paid

It is easy to get paid for your story, by reading, understanding and following these simple instructions.

Each story or video we choose to use will require signed author non-exclusive agreements. No advances will be paid, but royalties will be set higher than standard, for non-exclusive short stories, according to story size and significance to total project.

You do not have to be a professional writer or videographer to get paid for your story, however, we will only pay for quality stories. We charge a nominal submission fee ($39 to submit a written story or $49 to submit a video story) to promote submissions by those who are serious about getting paid and have taken the time to compile a quality story. For each story you submit, you will receive 1 copy of the finished release, in book or DVD format, depending on which format and subject you have submitted.

To increase the chances of your story being chosen, please do the following:

• No profanity allowed.
• Run spell and grammar check on your written documents. We will not make corrections to your work and misspellings will cause your story to be discarded.
• Video recordings can be done with your computer, however, pay attention to clarity and lighting. Record on highest quality and largest resolution. Quality must be high enough to play clearly on a big screen TV.

Once your story is chosen:

1. You will be notified by postal mail.
2. Your confirmation letter will include 3 papers to fill out and return:
   • A W9 Tax form, which will be kept on file by Amazing Life Production Company, in association with Amazing Life Publishing Company, in case we are required to file a 1099 for you.
   • An Acceptance of Liability form, which will verify your story is real and written by you. This form will require your signature and either the signature of 2 witnesses or a notary public, verifying your signature is valid.
   • A Non-Exclusive Release form, which simply allows us to use your story in part or complete, but you will still be allowed to sell your story to someone else, if you so choose. You will not be able to give or sell exclusive rights to anyone. This form will require your signature and either the signature of 2 witnesses or a notary public, verifying your signature is valid.
     
     Note: You MUST act promptly returning your papers, so not to delay production. We must receive your paperwork within 14 days or you will forfeit your contract. Your story will be discarded and we will choose another story.
     
     
3. Once your papers are received by us, your payment will be processed with a quarterly statement for the length of contract. If you have a Paypal account, your payment will be processed immediately. If you prefer to be paid by check, please allow 2-3 weeks for payment.
